Root Canal / Endodontics
Endodontic treatment is also known as a "root canal." An endodontic treatment is performed when the nerve is affected. If it is not treated promptly, it may lead to pain, swelling, or tooth abscess (infection).
Endodontic treatment is usually completed over two office visits. After completion, the tooth will need a full coverage crown to prevent it from fractures in the future.
